This 1982 DeFever 52 - Bombora - is a long-range trawler-style cruiser with large volume and all the creature comforts you need.

Powwred by twin CAT 3208's with 3,650hours on her - recently serviced and booked in for anti-foul in late March - she presentes in good condition and is ready for her next phase of ownership.

Built by the doyen of the trawler lifestyle - Arthur DeFever, only 13 of these boats were ever manufactured.  Sit back, relax, pour yourself a drink, engage the auto-pilot and cruise as far as you can - with the 7,000 litre upgraded fuel tank - you can go anywhere.

Stepping onto Bombora - the wide side decks give you a sense of space and the rear lounge is perfect for an afternoon bite or even for throwing a line over.  

Into the saloon, there's a spacious lounge area for 6, television, stereo and dining table for 6.  The galley is well appointed with large fridge/freezer, microwave, 4 x cooktop, sink with mixer, dishwasher, coffee machine and ice-maker!

The helm is well equipped with Vetus bow thruster, SeaTalk autopilot, map drawer, Raytheon radar, Raymarine depthsounder, Trackvision satellite and a beautifully appointed lounge area.

Downstairs and the Master Stateroom is spacious with a Queen bed, generous storage, ample height(1.98m) with the bathroom a highlight - shower with bath.  Yes, a bath! Everything you need.  Generous cupboard and hanging space for all your needs.

The VIP room has a Queen bed, lots of storage, a desk and bathroom with shower and head. 

The Guest room v-berth has two single beds as its own en-suite as well!

The detail in the wallpaper, lightfittings, bedside lights and bathrooms is amazing - and you feel like you're a guest aboard a large long-range vessel.

The Flybridge mirrors the controls in the Pilothouse - everything there you need and a nice lounge with seating for 8. Sit back, take in the sun and have a drink.  There's a crane with tender set-up as well - Whaley tender with 20HP Mercury 4-stroke 2019 engine with 5 hours on it.

The bow has lots of room - walk up and set up a table and chairs - take in the view.

This boat has recently been serviced, has a cruising speed of 8knots and a top speed of 10knots  There is Air conditioning throughout the boat - 5 zones - saloon, helm and three cabins.  The Onan Generator is 8.5KVA with 983hours on it.  This boat was 100volt imported from the USA  and has a 240 volt conversion inverter.  It can run of both voltages.
