DESCRIPTION

Bavaria 39 cruiser, 3 cabin layout in mint condition with loads of quality cruising extras, launched in 2005 and exclusively for sale with DBY Boat Sales.

They don't come much better than this one folks. The sought after 3 cabin layout is roomy and offers excellent segregation between family members or friends when staying onboard. She has all the quality fit out you would expect from such a well-known manufacturer.

Below decks, the boat is fitted out with generous quantities of thoughtfully designed mahogany joinery work, and above, the cockpit is focused more for the needs of comfort with two electric self-tailing primary winches, all lines leading back to a safe roomy cockpit and a well thought out pedestal helm station so the skipper has everything at their fingertips.

This Bavaria 39 is the popular three-cabin layout, two aft and one forward. It feels super roomy to pack all of this into a 39-foot boat, with an inline galley to the port side adjacent to the large saloon. This boat certainly has enough beam to make all of that fit in, and the galley is workable on either tack by virtue of the high seat back on the island settee that completes the four-sided dining area. The bonus in this arrangement is the full-size nav table and the roomy aft head.

The two aft staterooms are symmetrical sleeping quarters with enough standing room to permit dressing and undressing easily, the master cabin forward is huge for a 39-footer, a large semi-island queen sized berth, a dressing seat, and a private enclosed head. In the saloon, the plush upholstery is warm and inviting, with enough room around the table for 6 + easily.

On deck, the cruising focus is evident in the substantial double anchor rollers on the stem head. In the cockpit, a large steering console accommodates big-screen nav aids. Phoenix has a full suite of Raymarine electronics including a linear drive autopilot and the instruments are set up to display on the TV screen below. Access forward when boarding from the transom entryway is superb with the Lewmar folding-wheel.

The hull is made from solid laminate below the waterline and an Airex-cored sandwich above, and it’s stiffened by glassed-in hat-section frames. In the bow area, Kevlar reinforcement improves impact resistance. The cast-iron ballast keel is attached to the hull with stainless-steel keelboats, double-nutted and backed up by washers.
