DESCRIPTION

Optioned for long distance cruising this Commodore Edition Oceanis 473 is set up for ease of use with electric primary winches, electric halyard winch and bow-thruster. It’s equipped with a solar targa arch, cutter rig, assy spinnaker in a sock, water-maker, HF radio, AIS, radar, Sinewave invertor and much more.

The optional 100hp Yanmar never has to work hard and drives a Max Prop 3-blade feathering prop, while the cutter rig makes passage sailing in any conditions manageable. The Oceanis 473 has a great reputation for distance cruising and many have covered all the oceans of the World. This yacht had new sails, standing rigging and spray-dodger/bimini in 2020 and has just been antifouled, so is very much ready to be enjoyed by its next owners.

The 3-cabin interior is in stunning condition and all three cabins are generous. The dinette is roomy and the saloon table expands with an insert to accommodate additional guests. Opposite the dinette is a comfy seat and lots of useful cabinetry, as well as a proper forward facing nav’ station. There is a substantial L-shaped galley that has a freezer and fridge that is top and front loading, as well as a near new 2-burner stove with oven.

A Mastervolt battery monitor makes managing charging of the 630A bank of Triton batteries easy, which are fed from the boosted engine alternator, three solar panels, or shore-power and battery-charger. A 1000W Sinewave invertor powers most 240 volt appliances.

This is a well sorted blue-water cruising yacht that is undoubtedly comfortable to live aboard with a very roomy cockpit for entertaining and wide transom steps for ease of access from the water or tender.
