A rare find is this Botterill 28 motor cruiser Wingara from 1963 for sale. Motivated seller! All genuine and realistic offers considered!

This classic weekender has been fully restored in 2009 for her current 3rd owner. Extensive work was done including the replacement of her engine. She now has a 2009 model Lombardine 240hp turbo charged diesel with a very low 70 hours on the meter. Cruise speed is a comfortable 18 knots with WOT around 22 knots. 2 new stainless steel fuel tanks were fitted at that time of re powering.

Build construction was Clinker planked Queensland Maple Ply on to Silver Ash ribs, through nailed with copper nails clinched on roves.

Wingara is a much more modern boat these days with some of her upgrades including an electric windlass with dual operation, GPS, VHF radio, Flat screen TV, AM/FM/CD sound, 2 newly upholstered bunk beds that have a bunk infill to create a large King sized V berth, 12v fridge, galley with sink, toilet, LED cabin lighting and a large undercover cockpit entertaining area with ribbed canopy.
