Why buy new? This Catalina 309, launched October 2011, with only just over 200 hours on a 3 cylinder Yanmar diesel, always jetty maintained and serviced, presenting as new, is now for sale.
The Catalina 309 are really LOA 32ft 9 inches, with a generous beam of 11ft 6 inches, making for a roomy but easy to manage cruising yacht.
The interior features 2 private double cabins, full galley with upright fridge, navigation nook, and enclosed bathroom (the holding tank has never been used!).
The dinette also converts to a double bunk. TV with DVD.
The cockpit is huge with folding picnic table, full tailored cockpit cushions, stern seats and easy access swim platform. Protection is afforded by the dodger and bimini with infill.
Both the Mainsail and the Jib are furling for ease of handling. Also the heavier winged keel has a draft of only 4ft 4 inches, ideal for shallow waterways and anchorages.
