DESCRIPTION
2006 Com-Pac 27 now available for sale exclusively with DBY Boat Sales.
What an extraordinary little boat. Built in Clearwater, Florida by Com-Pac Yachts in 2006 and imported into Australia by her current and only owner.
29’7” overall with her pretty bowsprit and with a draft of just 3’6” she’s just a perfect weekender yacht.
Ideal for one couple for extended stays aboard with a big double v-berth forward which is fitted with a custom Flexima Nautic marine mattress (‘A unique composite spring system eliminates the need for metal springs and slatted frames. A Flexima® Nautic mattress is light weight, long lasting and delivers the ultimate sleeping comfort on yachts”), 6’1” headroom throughout, and a separate enclosed toilet and shower.
But wait there are up to 4 more berths available in the saloon with the Port settee forming a double bed, and the Starboard settee forming double bunks. And she has a total of 11 openings for fresh air throughout, 8 cabin side opening ports, two deck hatches and the companionway.
She had a new Volvo 20 hp diesel installed in October 2020, and it has had just 30 hours running, and even had a fresh water flush fitted so it is one very spoiled diesel. There is a bow thruster fitted, to make berthing in her marina a joy, and once she is at home in her berth she has a dehumidifier left on down below so there is zero mould in the boat despite Sydney’s atrocious weather of late. She has a properly installed 240 volt shore power system and battery charger, but as well she has solar panels installed on her cabin top.
An excellent spray dodger and bimini top will keep the Summer sun at bay, there is a great fitted transom swim ladder and even a cockpit shower, wind instruments, a VHF, an autopilot, and a depth sounder. A rolling furling genoa, and a mainsail fitted with a two line dutchman flaking system make her sails super easy to handle.
I could go on and on, but I’m sure you are getting the message so I’ll end by saying that her standing and much of her running rigging was replaced in November 2022, so there is the next 10 years of stress free sailing (and a happy insurance company) taken care of.
Come see for yourself, she is an absolute beauty and ready for not just the Summer ahead, but literally for this weekend.
