Compass 28's don't come any better than this one. A highly sought after vessel as they are so versatile. Ideal first yachts with their inherent safety at sea, comfort and roominess for a 28 footer. The perfect entry into some twilight racing or weekends away with friends and family.

This 1979 Compass 28 has had some nice upgrades during the current ownership of approximately 10 years. A 20hp Yanmar is one of those upgrades and was installed 11 years ago. The sail wardrobe was upgraded in 2015 along with a new furler and running rigging. Standing rigging is approximately 9 years old.

Suffice it to say, that the sailing ability of a Compass 28 is forgiving, un-scary and very comfortable. This explains why so many Compass 28s have been sold, and continue to sell quickly when they come on the second-hand market, as they satisfy the need for a safe, family yacht or a yacht for new sailors.
