Forgus 35 built in Sweden and launched 1980 with numerous quality upgrades since then, including the Volvo engine.

The family of 3 have just sailed into Australia after a multi year bluewater crossing from Sweden. With almost half the weight in the keel and a large sail area it performs very well both in strong and light winds.

Having just sailed to Australia from Sweden, she is equipped to continue travelling anywhere you like. Good sails, solent rig set up for a variety of wind strengths and angles, made for blue water cruising, together with a Hydrovane windvane and a strong Raymarine autopilot will take care of the sailing. Hefty solar panels and lithium batteries are used to run all systems including the watermaker and the other electronics on board for a comfortable and safe voyage. The boat features simple systems and avoids unnecessarily complicated electronics.

A lot of upgrades were made 2022 before the family left Sweden to sail to Australia. New safety equipment as offshore life raft, upgrades of the rig including new standing and running rig. The interior updates includes new thru hulls and pipes, new stove and gas installation and new mattresses/cushions. Bottom has been epoxy treated and copper coat applied to provide marine fouling for many (+10) years.

There is a lot of spare parts included. Spare starter motor and alternator to the engine, extra 16kg Delta anchor and new electric anchor winch with foot controls, offshore spare kit to Hydrovane and more.
