New to the market for the first time in NZ, we are proud to present this immaculately maintained Leopard 45.
Delivered into NZ in 2018, ‘Wakawaka’ went straight into full management with Yachtshare and has proved to be their most successful and popular yacht to date. The opportunity to purchase has now arisen along with the continuation of the contract with Yachtshare to make this a rare opportunity to purchase a yacht that is an investment in the future backed by the performance of the past.
Wakawaka is an owner version with the full starboard hull reserved for the owners cabin. The master suite is made up of a spacious double to the rear, storage and dressing room and private en suite. The port hull consists of a further 2 double ensuite guest cabins with a separate skippers cabin in the port bow with internal and external access.
Entertaining is made easy with Leopards signature walk through design. The large single level main deck starts with the spacious covered cockpit with dining table and seating which flows seamlessly into the galley/internal dining/lounge. Staying on the same level, a forward door opens through into a sunken forward facing cockpit ideal for sundowners at anchor.
The helm station is within the cockpit but slightly raised to the starboard side giving a great view point of all areas of the boat. Designed with simple cruising in mind, all lines lead back to the helm and can be operated with the two electronic winches. A third manual winch on the coach roof is set up specifically for the operation of the main sheet.
Twin 45hp diesel engines allow for a sop speed of 9 knots allowing for good distance to be covered even on those light wind days.
