DESCRIPTION
A recent complete mast overhaul, new standing rigging, new instruments, a hull wrap, new engine in 2022 and an ‘as new’ North Sails medium headsail means that this example is ready to be enjoyed for many more years to come. The best bang for your buck!
The MASRM 920 is well regarded as a good allround yacht suitable for twilight, club and coastal racing with a cockpit that makes crewing easy and an interior that is quite comfortable enough for weekends away.
The open plan interior has symetric aft doubles, the nav' table to port and galley to starboard, L-shaped seating around the original lifting keel box (no longer in use), a longer saloon seat to starboard and v-berth forward with a manual head hidden behind the bulkhead. The upholstery is all recent and in excellent condition.
With only 26 hours the engine is, as you would expect, as brand new and all nicely installed, driving a 2-blade rpop' via a shaft. There is also a new fuel tank.
The log, depth wind instruments were replaced last year and the hull wrap was also done last year. An 'as new' North's medium headsail covers most conditions, but up range there is a North 3Di medium/heavy jib as well. Though older the mainsail still holds its shape well, however the spinnaker is old.
Between the rigging, hull wrap, engine, instruments and headsail the best part of $50,000 has been spent to bring this yacht up-to-date. Reap the benefits of the work that has been done to bring new life to this well regarded club sailing yacht.
