EXTERIOR: The new 28's floats are based on the longer, wave-piercing reverse-bowed specimens that have proved successful on other models, giving more buoyancy and more volume forward to lift the bows and prevent pitchpoling. All three hulls, cabin and structural parts of the interior are made in hand laid fibreglass combined with Divinycell closed cell foam core sandwich construction. The hull and deck colour is white Gelcoat. Epoxy primer and antifouling on all three hulls, rudder and centreboard (your choice of colour). Water tight collision bulkhead forward in all three hulls. Curved GRP-wings and two composite structural bulkheads in Vinylester quality. Handrails on deck, bathing ladder and aft pulpit in stainless quality.

INTERIOR: The Dragonfly 28 enjoys five berths, a separate head and a full, neatly designed galley and enough stowage for a week's family cruising. You'll enjoy a surprising level of volume below, thanks to the impressive "steps" in the hull, where the saloon seating is placed. Other bulkheads and interior panels in plywood and maple laminate. A solid maple wood trim is used around the table and galley. Two cabin windows In total 3 hatches in acrylic/aluminium (one in each hull). Emergency hatch in aft cabin. Hand bilge pump operated from cockpit. 2 sinks. 12V electrical installations with master switch and electrical panel with automatic fuses and one 12V plug. One battery, 70 amp/h, maintenance free. Various cabin and navigation lights in LED, stern light, and combined red/green up front. Compass with light. One fire extinguisher (2kg). Emergency box with 2 inspection hatches - accessible from in and outside.

DECK EQUIPMENT: The 28 is great fun and easy to handle, accommodating five people. This majestic trimaran is for the modern sailor; it is all about possibilities, fun - and incorporating the very latest in multihull technology. And let's not forget sailability. 2 x Anderson ST28 self-tailing winches for operation the swing wing system 2 x Anderson 40 winches on cabin top for halyards, reefing lines and genoa system 2 x Anderson winch handles. 2 x Ronstan Quattro deck organisers. Ronstan genoa track system. Main sheet block system 1:6 + 1:24.2 x preventer/boomvang outhaul 1:4. Total 14 x halyard stoppers. 4 x polar (cleats) in stainless with steel backing plates. All sheets and lines for controlling the standard sails. All functions led to cockpit. Roller furling/reefing system for headsail. The boat is unsinkable. The boat complies with the EU standards category B
