DESCRIPTION

A one in a thousand yacht! Superlatives are easy to throw around, but in this case, they are completely justified. This is an exquisite vessel, beautifully handcrafted by master builders and stunningly maintained by two fastidious owners.

A recent hull paint and deck refurbishment is the icing on the cake to what looks throughout like a yacht that couldn’t be more than 10 years old.

However, it is the detail that really sets it apart. The fit out and joinery is of the highest standard, but everything is very well thought out and superbly maintained.

On deck this just feels like a very sturdy yacht that could go anywhere, yet on the other hand would make a fabulous liveaboard. The cockpit is well protected, comfortable and can be completely enclosed in inclement weather. It opens to a pilothouse that provides complete protection to the companionway, and also two occasional berths. The cutter rig makes for an easily handled sail plan that can cope with ease with a variety of conditions, and the sea kindly hull will deal with any sea state.

There are solar panels on the top of the pilothouse, and also hinging on the pushpit rail, which also incorporates a dinghy outboard crane. Halyards are dealt with at the mast which has two winches mounted and keeps all of those rope tails away from the cockpit. A very practical solution given that the genoa and staysail are on furlers.

The quality of the finish is evident from the moment you step down into the interior with beautifully crafted exposed timber beams that simply set off the whole yacht. To port is an L-shaped galley with a Eutectic fridge/freezer, while to starboard is a proper nav’ station with everything at hand, as well as a 12v drinks fridge. The saloon has a bench seat to port and U-shaped dinette to Starboard and is fed by a 16,000 Btu air-conditioning unit. Forward of the bulkhead a clever door system opens up a generous head and shower, forward of which is the forepeak workshop.

With a Kubota diesel gen-set, the solar mentioned above and Sinewave invertor power is on demand at any time to enable extended voyaging, working while on board, or as a liveaboard.

Aft of the galley to port is the corridor to the superb owner’s cabin with a large Queens sized double. The yacht was originally fitted out with a head adjacent to this cabin which could easily be reinstated but is currently used for storage. Aft to Starboard is a comfortable guest cabin.

All of the equipment onboard is of the highest standard, so this is a yacht that wants for nothing and will undoubtedly offer the next lucky owner many years of enjoyment. Don’t miss out!
