Australian luxury cruiser manufacturer, Maritimo, is gearing up for a major display at the up coming  Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in the USA which is one of the largest events of its kind worldwide.

Maritimo USA President, Dave Northrop, who recently visited Maritimo’s Gold Coast  factory, said the new range of vessels developed by the Australian company was perfect for the USA market and he expected strong interest at Fort Lauderdale.

“The new M45 which was released at the Sydney show and the larger M58 which both feature full beam master suites and enclosed flybridges are absolutely perfect for our market,” he said.

“Maritimo has undertaken considerable research with its customers and dealers and the new generation of vessels coming out of the Gold Coast plant are a step ahead in terms of quality, design, livability and sea worthiness while all still demonstrating the same high levels of fuel efficiency that the brand is renowned for.

“The finish in these vessels is exceptional and with the company going back to its core strengths and then refining them we are seeing some excellent new models being rolled out.”

Mr Northrop said the Maritimo display at Fort Lauderdale would comprise the M58 Cruising Motor Yacht, the M45 Cruising Motor Yacht, the Maritimo C50 IPS Sport Yacht, the Mustang 43 Sports Cruiser and the 440 Offshore.

Maritimo’s Australian sales and marketing manager, Greg Haines, said the vessels had already left Australia for the US in readiness for the Fort Lauderdale show.

“We received very positive feedback after Sydney and had solid sales,” he said.

“Dave and also one of the largest USA dealers for Maritimo Joe Galati were both here for the Sydney show and they are excited about the new models and the direction the company is going in.

“We are quietly confident that we will see a solid performance in Fort Lauderdale given that there are signs emerging in the US economy generally that are positive for the industry.”

The Fort Lauderdale show runs from October 25 to October 29.
