Maritimo US Dealer Expands To The Great Lakes

US Maritimo Dealer Galati Yacht Sales has announced it is taking the brand to the northern Great Lakes region with the opening of its first sales office in Michigan.

Galati’s Great Lakes office will be in the new Yacht Basin Marina Plaza in the town of Holland on the eastern shore of Lake Michigan.

The new dealership will focus on new Maritimo sales and brokerage.

“It has become very clear to us that there is a strong link between the Gulf Coast in the south and the Great Lakes region,” said Galati Yachts President Joe Galati. “Many of our customers have dual residences and our goal is to provide our north/south boaters with a one-source option for all of their yacht sales and brokerage needs.”

Maritimo CEO Bill Barry-Cotter applauded the move by Galati Yacht Sales.

“This is a positive expansion for us and for Galati,” he said. “Maritimo already has a strong contingent being enjoyed by Great Lakes boating enthusiasts.”

The new Dealership will be headed by industry veteran Brian Dekkinga, a member of Galati’s management team.

Galati is a yacht sales and service company with seven locations across western Florida, Alabama and Texas and now in Michigan.
