Bill Wilde’s McConaghy built and Reichel Pugh designed Wedgetail was crowned as Courier Mail Cup winner on Sunday after thirty hours of intense racing.

Wedgetail won both IRC overall and PHRF overall, in a race that was predicted to go to the smaller boats in the fleet.

Earlier this year Bill skippered Wedgetail to line honours victory in the Pittwater to Coffs harbour race.

Wedgetail was the first yacht to be launched from McConaghy Boats China factory as Yendys back in 2006, with numerous successes and thousands of fast and trouble free ocean miles under her belt, Bill has successfully campaigned the Reichel Pugh 55 as Wedgetail for the last 2 years.

Congratulations to Bill and the Wedgetail crew.
