MOODY 41 CLASSIC – WORLD PREMIERE IN HAMBURG
The new Moody 41 Classic makes your dreams affordable! At the 2008 Hanseboot in Hamburg the Moody 41 Classic will be introduced, a world premiere carrying on 200 years of British boat-building tradition.
The Moody Classic is the new series for Classic yacht enthusiasts. She has the stylistic elements of a classic yacht below deck, with high gloss mahogany surfaces and rattan doors. Oval chrome windows and the option of separate berths in the forward owners cabin underline the traditional interior. On deck high gloss cockpit coamings and handrails of varnished mahogany and solid teak toerails with integrated stainless steel fairleads, give the Moody a whiff of nostalgia and elegance.
All this combined with today’s high technology. The under water configuration of the Moody conforms to state of the art design. On deck you will find a modern intelligent German sheeting system lead to the optional electric winches next to the twin steering. The standard self-tacking jib, with under deck furler and a standard single-line reefing system, supplement the sail configuration and turn the Moody 41c into a short handed yacht for a small crew.
Dreams to own such yachts, with a successful combination of classic elements and the latest technology, could previously only be fulfilled in an one off custom design. This had its price. The new Moody 41 Classic makes such dreams affordable.
The Moody 41 Classic is the first yacht in the new Moody Classic series. In the Deck Salon series, the Moody 45 DS has already created much sensation. In the next few months the product family in the Classic and Deck Salon series will be further extended.
The World Premiere of the Moody 45 Classic will be shown at boot Düsseldorf in January 2009, and by the spring of 2010 another Moody Classic and Moody Deck Salon will be introduced into the market.
