THE NEW ARVOR 215 AS – outpaces fuel costs.

Fresh from Europe, the new Arvor 215AS is set to make its Australian debut in March 2009, joining the recent successful release of the dynamic Arvor 280AS.

The 215AS arrives at a perfect time for boat buyers worried by rising fuel costs and looking for more frugal and efficient diesel alternatives. Again the asymmetrical style of the Arvor range has been adopted, giving even better access to the bow with a very large walk around on the starboard side.

The 2009 model Arvor 215’s, are fitted with the new Cummins CMD QSD – 4 cylinder, 115hp common rail engine. As with all Arvor boats, the 215AS is a direct shaft drive.

Proving to be even more fuel efficient and quieter than before, these new electronic engines will certainly be well accepted.

The vessel comes standard with an electric windlass, fibreglass swim platform and a stainless steel boarding ladder, plumbed live bait tank, fold-down cockpit and helm seats, hydraulic steering, gas stove, chemical toilet and VHF radio.

The 6.36 metre hull weighs less than 1.65 tonnes and thus can be realistically towed by a four-wheel-drive, or alternatively kept in the water permanently.  Its self-draining cockpit is enormous, with a wealth of storage, and there’s a lockable wheelhouse boasting a large double berth and galley.

The Arvor 215AS slots neatly between its stable mates in size, space and cost, while offering the same superb seaworthiness, reliability, affordability and user-friendliness.

The handy-sized 215AS is priced from just $103,500 incl GST.
