Multihull Solution to stage exclusive launch of Sanya 57 at Sydney International Boat Show

Headlining Multihull Solutions’ display at the Sydney International Boat Show is the exciting Southern hemisphere launch of the new Fountaine Pajot Flagship sailing catamaran, the Sanya 57.

Seen for the very first time in Australia, the luxurious catamaran sets a new standard in ocean-going performance and stylish cruising. Defined by its unique, contemporary design, the Sanya 57 shines with the distinctive comfort, fixtures and services for which Fountaine Pajot’s prestigious Flagship Class is renowned.

Comprehensive sea trials have endorsed the Sanya’s exceptional sea-going capabilities.  The Sanya 57 handles the rough seas with ease and exhibits a noticeable absence of pounding or spray, while pitching is remarkably limited as the impact of waves is effortlessly absorbed.  The boat offers excellent directional stability, steady speed, outstanding comfort, and enjoys being sailed hard in even inclement conditions.

The Sanya’s ergonomic helmstation affords panoramic visibility with a bimini for all-weather protection. Designed to be unobtrusive of the boat’s living areas, the steering position accesses all mainsail control lines from the coachroof. Aesthetics are paramount and the Sanya’s sleek lines are not compromised by practicality, with the solar panels integrated into the coachroof.

The spacious lounge deck is segregated from the helmstation, ensuring uninterrupted relaxation for guests while still allowing easy communication with the skipper. The sheltered 25m2 cockpit with sugar scoops is the perfect area for unwinding or entertaining. Its exclusive outdoor galley, equipped with sink, refrigerator, generous storage and adjustable table, helps create the perfect summer saloon. With custom-designed protection, it doubles the closed sheltered area, all on the same level.

A remarkable 106m2 of living area, all on one level, provides optimal space for enjoying cruises with treasured friends or unwinding in comfort on intimate getaways. The dining and living room exude a refined yet relaxing ambience, courtesy of the discerning choice of textiles and furnishings, lighting, central island in galley, and the flexibility to customise the area’s layout according to clients’ specific needs. At anchor or at sea, the outstanding panorama is a unique signature of the Sanya 57.

The Sanya 57 is the only catamaran of its size offering six true cabins with an unsurpassed level of comfort. In this version, each of the beautifully appointed guest rooms features sea views and private bathroom. A guest bathroom, accessible via the main saloon, is a thoughtful design feature greatly appreciated when at sea.  The catamaran is also available in an Owner’s version with a dedicated Owner’s suite and four guest cabins.

All private rooms and passageways are light-filled and spacious, adorned with exquisite furnishings and contemporary fixtures. Renowned interior design Isabelle Racoupeau was inspired by the Sanya 57’s clean and sleek lines. Complementing the catamaran’s lines, the interior exudes an urban identity based on elegance, minimalism and refinement.

Attention to detail is evident with even the texture and grains of the timber finishes strategically chosen and installed to enhance the natural feeling of space and light.  Soft Cherry timber finishes harmonise perfectly with the warmth of Wenge timber and the sleekness of stainless steel. Panels that are sheathed and finely topstitched. The elegant furniture has been carefully selected. The saloon sofas are large, comfortable and inviting, while the modular saloon table can be converted to transform the space into a living or dining room. Lighting on the Sanya 57 is sublime, and the catamaran simply glows with warmth and refinement after dark.

Multihull Solutions will also stage the NSW launch of the remarkable new Carbon Infused Catana 47, which is enjoying international acclaim as company’s fastest 47, built for world cruising and exceptionally fast passages. This new model Catana is almost 700kg lighter than its predecessor and provides exhilarating sailing with the power to maintain high average speeds over long distances.

The new 2012 model Fountaine Pajot Lipari 41 will also be on display, showcasing its spectacular new interior including luminous timber cabinetry, contemporary upholstery and A HIGH standard of fixtures and trims.

Multihull Solutions will also have representatives from Sunreef Yachts and Trawler at the Show to handle all queries regarding their range.
