Continuing what has been a tremendous year for the company, Multihull Solutions has enjoyed a successful Sydney Boat Show with strong sales and overwhelming interest from multihull buyers.
Despite visitor numbers to the show falling slightly lower than the previous year, the Multihull Solutions stand was inundated by enthusiasts who came to inspect the Fountaine Pajot Salina 48 and Lipari 41 and the Trawler Summerland 40 power catamaran.
Over AUD$3million in orders was taken at the show, and the Multihull Solutions team is now busy responding to the record amount of genuine sales enquiries.
There was also a significant amount of interest across the Sunreef Yachts, Catana, NEEL Trimarans and Journey range, for which the company is the exclusive Australian and New Zealand importer and distributor.
The Multihull Solutions Hospitality Houseboat saw a constant stream of Australian and New Zealand visitors throughout the week who soaked up the glorious sunshine and friendly atmosphere. The company’s VIP function on the Friday evening was a great success with clients and industry partners sharing great food, wine and stories well into the night.
Multihull Solutions director Richard Kilburn said the show was a clear indication the tide was turning in favour of multihulls, as the public recognises the many outstanding benefits including value, safety, comfort and performance.
“The combination of our brands’ exceptional designs and the value provided by the strong Australian dollar means multihulls are becoming an obvious favourite for power and sailing enthusiasts,” Richard said.
Multihull Solutions is now preparing for the Whitsunday Boat and Lifestyle Show from 10-11 September, the Auckland International Boat Show from 15-18 September, and the Mandurah Boat Show from 14-16 October where they expect the solid sales and enquiries to continue.
