In the face of a sluggish marine market, Multihull Solutions proved the increasing popularity of catamarans with a staggering seven boats sold during and immediately following the 2011 Sanctuary Cove Boat Show.
Showcasing five models from their impressive marina stand, the company was inundated with visitors and took numerous orders on multihulls ranging from 36 to 60 feet in size.
The interest wasn’t limited to the show, with Multihull Solutions’ sales team still working long hours to keep up with the strong buyer enquiries in the following weeks.
Multihull Solutions managing director Mark Elkington said the success was a direct indication of the public’s recognition of the value, safety and performance of multihulls.
“Although we were able to offer exceptional value on our range due to the strong Australian dollar, the fantastic sales response shows that multihulls are becoming an obvious favourite for power and sailing enthusiasts,” Mark said.
“Our range of premium international brands including Fountaine Pajot, Trawler, Catana, NEEL Trimarans and Sunreef Yachts offers outstanding offshore performance, comfort and safety, which appeals to both serious sailors and lifestyle cruisers.”
Multihull Solutions is now preparing for another successful Sydney International Boat Show from 28 July until 1 August, exhibiting the brand new Fountaine Pajot Salina 48 Evolution and Lipari 41 sailing catamarans.
