New Sport Yacht launch powers sales for Riviera
Australia’s largest luxury boat builder, Riviera, has reported sales across all three lines – Flybridge, Sport Yacht and Offshore Express – at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show last weekend.
The world release of the exciting new Riviera 5800 Sport Yacht was a major success for the company with nearly half of all sales.
“The success of the 5800SY demonstrates that the right boat excites the market,” said Riviera CEO John Anderson. “The result over the weekend has shown that the market has confidence in the brand.”
Riviera announced a new line of large Motor Yachts at the Show, ranging from 73 to 85 feet. These new luxury Motor Yachts excited great interest and Dealers are already generating quotes for keen owners.
Riviera’s Director of Brand and Communications, Stephen Milne, said the support for the brand was powerfully demonstrated when the stock of 5,000 “I Love Riv” stickers ran out on Sunday morning. He said the “I love Riv” girls were a big hit and featured extensively in media coverage of the show.
New Riviera 70 Enclosed Flybridge owner Bryan Stokes took delivery of his gleaming new boat at the Show and declared full support for the company.
Mr Stokes manned the new Riviera 70 throughout the weekend and spoke with a number of potential buyers to demonstrate his passion for the brand
“In fact, he has asked if he can come to Sydney International Boat Show and do exactly the same thing!” said Stephen Milne.
R Electronics and R Desalination recorded strong sales of key equipment including thermal imaging cameras, desalinators and navigational electronics while Riviera Syndication reported its best Boat Show ever with the sale of 15 shares including shares in a 5800 Sport Yacht to be based in Sydney.
Riviera is now looking forward to the Sydney International Boat Show and the launch of the new 5000 Sport Yacht, the first Riviera to include the Zeus pod propulsion system. The company will also unveil a new version of its popular 51 Flybridge. The new boat has triple Volvo Penta IPS propulsion, and a major upgrade to the flybridge with new luxury appointments and styling, a large new storage area under the saloon and optional crew quarters. The 5800SY will make its Sydney debut at the show, and a new interior design in the successful Riviera 47 Flybridge will also be on display.
The Sydney International Boat Show opens on July 30.
