Cruising Amenities and Back Cove Sensibility
Design and tooling for the all new Back Cove 41 is now well underway at the Rockland, Maine USA home of Back Cove Yachts. This brilliant edition to the range offers two double staterooms and two heads with a layout designed with comfortable extended cruising in mind. The first Back Cove to feature a side helm door, the new 41 is not only a beauty to behold, she is, of course, rugged and practical as her lineage would dictate.
As with all the models, she features a single electronic shaft drive diesel engine, efficient and seaworthy deep V hull and incorporates cutting edge technology and traditional craftsmanship from world rekown Maine boatbuilders.
Kevin Burns, Vice President of Design and Product Development says, “The 41 was conceived from the onset to serve as the flagship of the Back Cove fleet. Clean, purposeful lines and naturally pleasing proportions dominate the profile and are supported by serious attention to the sculpted details that set today’s Back Coves apart from their peers.”
Scheduled for launch at the Miami International Boat Show in February 2014, we are already planning her arrival in Australia and have existing Back Cove owners visiting the factory in September to have a look at progress first hand.
