The new Cobalt 242 bowrider is such a boat, a study in free-form design, whilst maintaining parameters Cobalt stepped outside the box of boat design to bring something very special to the table which follows in the flowing wake of the much-loved Cobalt range.

The 242 demonstrates from first glance the renowned Cobalt DNA, from wide cockpit, refined appointments and handcrafted interior trim. Cobalt’s distinctive use of HD 316 polished stainless steel fixtures flow throughout in all the range and finish wrapping around the laddered extended swim platforms to complete the trimmings.

The Cobalt 242 has a spacious fully enclosed head compartment. It boasts a big 6 speaker surround sound Sony marine entertainment system (including amplifier and iPod jack) with a drivers seat remote and full compliment of Italian sports instruments gives you the tools ready to venture anywhere – all reassuring elements of elegance, convenience and practicality.

The lounges are deeper and wider and there is wrap around seating welcoming a dozen guests. While a rest the rear sun-lounge with an adjustable backrest lend itself to watching the family frolic in the water while you sit back with a glass of bubbly or just basking in the sun.

A plethora of easy access wet and dry storage compartments are at hand, including a deep anchor locker to store all your gearand maximize your space. Deep pile bow and cockpit carpet for your comfort is removable and allows you to keep things clean easily.
