As the flagship boat of the 2010 Melbourne International Boat & Lifestyle Festival, Dyna Motor Yachts’ D77 takes luxury boating to an exciting new level.
The vessel’s powerful, yet elegant, Italian-designed profile commands attention like few others. At 23.46m (77ft) in length and towering 4.42m above the waterline, the D77’s approximate displacement is a massive 53 tonnes.
Beyond its impressive external appearance, the painstaking craftsmanship that has been invested into the D77 is immediately obvious upon stepping aboard. Attention to detail is second-to-none and only the finest quality materials and fittings have been used throughout to create a luxurious and comfortable environment.
Boasting a functional five-cabin layout – each cabin with an ensuite, individually-controlled air-conditioning, flatscreen TV, DVD player and stereo – the D77 offers luxury accommodation at its finest. Two indoor and two outdoor entertaining areas also give the vessel the flexibility to be used for any occasion, be it a leisurely weekend with family and friends or a formal event with clients. With four fridges and a commercial icemaker onboard, it’s never far to travel for a top up.
Powered by twin MTU 1500hp engines, the D77 cruises comfortably at 18kt and has a top open-water speed of 28kt. Despite its size, the vessel is also surprisingly easy to handle at the marina, thanks to the bow and stern thruster system, which is fitted as standard.
With a price tag of just under $4 million, the D77’s presence at next month’s event signifies a major re-launch for Dyna, following the recent appointment of Melbourne Boat Sales as the exclusive Australian dealer for the international motor yacht marque.
Melbourne Boat Sales director Lee Vitiello said he was looking forward to the opportunity to re-position Dyna in the Australian market.
“For more than 20 years, boaters around the world have loved the combination of elegance and ocean-going performance that Dyna Motor Yachts has incorporated into every hull that has come out of its yard,” Mr Vitiello said
“The market should now prepare for the next generation of Dyna Motor Yachts, which builds on its existing reputation with contemporary style and cutting-edge design, not forgetting the flexibility Dyna offers boaters who want to individualise their dream boat.”
With an impressive range from 51’ to 77’ and a new 95-footer on the way, Dyna offers a luxury motor yacht for every taste, purpose and budget – whether it’s a weekend entertainment platform, a family getaway vessel or a long-range luxury cruiser. In a further boon for Australian boaters, Dyna delivers an unbelievable price advantage. The Dyna 51, for example, starts from under $1 million.
