Palm Beach Motor Yachts recently launched its very first PB45 in Sydney.
“With a new contemporary layout, we have managed to take quite a few hours out of this boat without compromising our high quality. We remain focussed on building the best boats possible but are very excited to bring a boat to market with a list price of $1.2m” said company founder, Mark Richards.
The PB45 in standard form is matched with twin Volvo IPS400s providing an expected top speed of 25kts. At 11.5 tonnes the boat is significantly lighter than other production boats due to her superior construction technique using composite materials. Combining this with a super, slippery, semi displacement hull, Palm Beach believes this is the most fuel efficient boat in its class, sipping less than 65litres per hour at 20kts. As with all Palm Beach vessels, the handling and sea going nature is exceptional and something the Palm Beach team is very proud of.
The PB45 is available in single or twin cabin layout and (as with all Palm Beaches) fully customised to suit each individual owner.
The metallic, silver-brown coloured PB45, called Ammonite will be travelling to Sanctuary Cove Boat Show on the way to its ultimate home in Hamilton Island.
“Feedback from clients so far on the all new contemporary fit out has been sensational. We are going to introduce it into all of our models as an option. For owners with kids or boats that get a large amount of use, we feel the contemporary fit out will provide an attractive alternative to the Teak-dominated traditional fit out that our boats are well known for” Mark Richards
Palm Beach continues to satisfy strong demand for its bespoke, semi custom luxury motor yachts with a solid forward order book. The Central Coast based company will be exhibiting its brand new PB45 and PB55 at this year’s Sanctuary Cove Boat Show in May.
