PC58 Evolves into a Bigger and Better PC60 with more options

The PC58 is an amazing power catamaran with raving industry reviews and it just got bigger and better.  We have increased the waterline length to just over 60 feet to accommodate either a standard shaft drive or the ZF 4000 series POD drives at the owner’s option.

Shaft drives are the most common propulsion system for yachts and POD drives are the latest technological advance for yachts relatively new to the market. Our blog on POD drives discusses the features and benefits such as fuel efficiency and cruising speed of POD drives in detail.

The PC60 now offers the choice of the original 3 cabin layout or a 4 cabin configuration.  As with the PC58, the PC60 is available as an Open Flybridge or Enclosed Pilothouse.  The first Enclosed Pilothouse PC60 will debut at the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show, Australia in May 2013.

Naval architect Lavranos Marine Design of Auckland, New Zealand, designed the tank tested semi displacement hull design which allows for easy manoeuvrability and greater responsiveness in a variety of sea conditions supporting a smoother ride and higher safety standards in all situations encountered.  The Horizon PC series is designed to go where other yachts can’t even begin to venture.

The spacious luxury of the PC60 is the same luxury you will find on a megayacht at a surprisingly cost effective price and comparatively lowered running and maintenance costs.  One of the biggest attention getters is the forward master suite complete with a panoramic 180 degree view adding to the already exhilarating and captivating design of the entire yacht.
