Pursuit OS345 built for bluewater fishing
The Pursuit OS345 is a serious offshore fishing boat built for serious offshore fishing.
Measuring 11.09m LOA with a 3.65m beam, this bluewater battlewagon is slightly longer and wider than the OS335 (the best-selling model in Pursuit’s history) it replaces.
Featuring an expansive cockpit for fighting fish and a large cabin for overnighting, the OS345 is brand new from hull to decks to interior.
The express design includes an open helm with optional bridge deck air conditioning and an aft canvas enclosure to escape the elements without escaping the view. This layout also affords quick access from the helm to the cockpit when there are more screaming reels than anglers. The helm area itself offers space to mount multiple large-screen GPS/sonar/radar displays, binnacle mount throttle controls and other switches, and incorporates a custom bolster-style skipper seat and portside L-shaped companion lounge.
This area is protected from the elements by a stylish, infusedfibreglass windshield with tempered safety glass and electrically-actuated ventilating centre window.Moving into the self-draining (with scuppers) cockpit, the non-skid deck houses two insulated 150L fish boxes, while stainless steel cockpit toe rails and padded quick-dry coamings will ensure a comfortable fighting position when hooked-up to big fish.
The heavy-duty transom door provides easy access to and from the boat, be it for boarding or dragging a fish onboard. The OS345’s comprehensive tackle centre / rigging station is a bluewater angleros dream-come-true,with lockable draws that are large enough to house all manner of terminal tackle and tools, along with a sink and freshwater tap for rinsing lures after use.
The tackle centre’s proximity to the 170L recirculating in-transom livewell will ensure everything is close at hand during a hot session. Fold-away transom seating provides full access to the back of the boat while fishing and extra seating for crew while cruising to and from the fishing grounds. The electric BBQ / cockpit galley is another a great idea for long days on the water.
Down in the spacious cabin is an innovative circular seating arrangement forward that converts to a Vberth, mid-cabin berth with comfortable settee; and a head compartment that includes a separate shower area. The fully-equipped galley features stainless steel appliances and Corian countertops.
Rated to carry up to twin 350hp outboards (700hp), the OS345’s wave-slicing 20¡ deadrise hull andmassive 1,290L fuel tank combine to deliver serious long-range offshore performance.
Standard bowthrusters will also give anyone the confidence to dock in close quarters, wind or strong currents. Building functional inshore and offshore fishing boats for 60 years, Pursuit is renowned the world over for its superior construction, fit and finish, durability and uncompromising quality.
Pursuit currently builds four ranges: offshore (230-370), Centre Console (200-310), Dual Console (260) and Sport (280-310).
