RARE OFFERING AT RAY WHITE MARINE

Ray White Marine’s first Sydney auction will feature the enticing and rare proposition of a luxury vessel going on the block with no reserve price.

The boat’s ‘no reserve’ status ensures the 49-foot luxury motor yacht will be sold on auction day, Saturday July 30, for a price that may turn out to be a bargain for a lucky buyer.

Mark Ali, of Ray White Marine, said the vendor had agreed not to set a reserve because he believed Ray White’s international and national marketing reach and specialist industry knowledge would ensure a raft of buyer interest and therefore the right price at auction.

“This is indeed a rare opportunity as prospective buyers can confidently enter the bidding process knowing they are a real contender and that there will be a sale,” he said.

“It shows plenty of faith on the part of the seller, however Ray White Marine has proven highly successful at bringing together vendors and purchasers from across Australia and overseas.

“This is a truly unique initiative that is almost unheard of in the marine sector and the opportunity to bid on a luxury vessel with no reserve will create a real buzz at the Sydney event.”

“By showcasing vessels on a scale that only a national brand can offer, we’ve achieved exceptional sales rates.”

The “no reserve” auction item is an Azimut 46E flybridge vessel that has undergone a $250,000-plus upgrade and refit.

Features include a queen-size suite, VIP cabins, a twin bunk cabin, close circuit TV, cream leather upholstery, Bose surround-sound systems throughout, reverse cycle air conditioning and a galley with microwave, stove and dishwasher.

It is one of 11 vessels that will be up for grabs at the auction.

The agency’s foray into the Sydney market will coincide with Australia’s premier recreational boating showcase – the 44th Sydney International Boat Show.

Ray White Marine will also make its first appearance as an exhibitor at the five-day boating extravaganza that is to be held at Darling Harbour from July 28 to August 1.

The inaugural Sydney marine auction will be held at the Sydney Hilton’s Grand Ballroom, 488 George Street, at 4pm Saturday July 30.

Ray White Marine’s display stand 711 at the Boat Show is located in the Exhibition Halls Promenade adjacent to the Hall 6 entry of the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, with visitors able to meet the team and gain a unique insight into one of the most innovative and progressive marine service specialists.
