Record Sales For Maritimo At Miami Show

Maritimo has announced a record sales result at the Miami International Boat Show in the United States.

According to Maritimo USA President Dave Northrop: “With this result, we are looking at a great year.”

He said the company registered sales from every geographic region of the USA as well as the Caribbean and South America.

The result follows on from a strong showing at Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in October last year.

Mr Northrop said the company had approached the show “with cautious optimism”.

“A number of factors contributed to the great result,” he said

“While the weather was on our side, the strongest factors were the preparation and performance of our dealers. The addition of HMY and Galati Yacht Sales to our team played an important role.

“We also had a great display, with two models being shown for the first time outside Australia – a 440 Offshore Convertible and C50 Sports Cabriolet. We also showed a M56 Cruising Motoryacht – which sold at the show – and a 550 Offshore Convertible.   

“All four boats on display were fresh off the ship and touched upon four different and popular boating segments.  It is obvious from the results that Maritimo is bringing the right products to the market.

He said the Maritimo stand had seen a 30 percent increase in registered visitor numbers over the previous year.

“We are particularly excited that the number of visitors from northern USA was greatly improved this year,” he said.
