Riviera’s flagship 70 Enclosed Flybridge will star at the 2011 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show in May thanks to the generosity of Riviera owner Peter Teakle.
Australia’s most awarded pleasure boat builder will have 10 new boats on display at the Gold Coast’s premiere boat show, five of which are owners boats, who have kindly lent their boats in support of Riviera.
Riviera’s director of brand and communication Stephen Milne said Mr Teakle phoned him last week to offer his boat for the show totally unprompted.
“It is the incredible generosity of owners such as Peter that enables us to stage some of these major shows,” Mr Milne said.
“Riviera has very few stock boats as the majority of our boats are built to order and thus we have to borrow boats from our owners and we are extremely grateful for their support.”
Mr Teakle who divides his time between two beautiful boating locations in Hamilton Island and Port Lincoln, is the proud owner of Riviera 70 Enclosed Flybridge, Born to Battle, and a Riviera 56 based in Port Lincoln.
“It gives me great pleasure to lend my boat to Riviera for the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show,” Mr Teakle said.
“I have owned many Rivieras and enjoy being part of the Riviera family. If I can help Riviera in any way I will and I am happy to have my boat on display at one of Australia’s most esteemed boat shows.”
