Miami, USA: The latest new models from Australia’s largest and most awarded luxury boat builder, Riviera, has sparked strong interest at the annual Miami Yacht and Brokerage Show, which was held in February.

In its 13th year at the show, Riviera showcased the newly released 445 SUV, the 5000 next generation and 5800 Sport Yachts, the 43 Open Flybridge, and the 53 and 63 Enclosed Flybridges.

On the Saturday night of the show, Riviera celebrated the Miami launch of its 5000th boat with a 007 themed cocktail party where more than 200 VIP guests tried their luck at Casino Riviera.  Each guest was given $5000 Riviera dollars and prizes were awarded to the highest rollers and the best dressed 007 couple.

Guests also had the chance to have a private viewing of the 5000th boat, the new 445 SUV, as well as the other models that were on display.

Riviera’s director of brand and communications Stephen Milne said there was strong interest in the 5800 and 5000 Sport Yachts, the 53 Enclosed Flybridge and the new 50 Enclosed Flybridge.

“It was a very positive show with a great many sea trials booked immediately after the show, so it will take a few weeks for us to have final figures on our sales results from this show, but with what was achieved at the show, this will be very positive for Riviera,” Mr Milne said.

“There was also a lot of interest in the Belize Motoryacht range and we look forward to showcasing a new Belize 52 with its US debut at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show in October.

“All in all, it was a strong show for both Riviera and Belize.  The VIP night was extremely entertaining with people sharing the Riv love and having a good time with the Riviera family.”
