Riviera begins to recruit to help meet rising demand

Coomera, QLD, Australia: Riviera has this month begun to recruit selected trades to meet the company’s growing forward order bank.

Riviera has made an excellent start to the New Year with the production schedule approaching capacity for the next six months.  An array of international boat shows, an active new product development plan and the upcoming release of several exciting new models will put Riviera in a very strong position for 2013.

Riviera’s general manager Scott Cumming said the search was now on for highly skilled, qualified and experienced boat builders and plug makers.

“We have been recruiting to help us achieve our forward orders and objectives for 2013,” Mr Cumming said.

“Just four weeks into the New Year and already 2013 is shaping up to be an exciting and busy year in the world of Riviera.

“Confidence in the Riviera brand around the world is stronger than ever, as we experience an encouraging increase in new boat sales.  Our new product development team is working around the clock putting the finishing touches on our new designs, which will be released during the year and we are already well into the boat show season.”

Mr Cumming said Riviera was looking for skilled boat builders with excellent hand tool and machinery experience, the ability to work within a team environment and adhere to strict standards and deadlines.  Accuracy, attention to detail and a genuine passion for boat building are essential, as is a positive attitude, and an understanding of sound work practices, such as work place health and safety.

Trade qualifications in boat building, cabinet making, and shipwrighting will be a distinct advantage.
