Australia’s largest luxury pleasure boat manufacturer, Riviera is expected to impress the New Zealand market with its latest innovative designs which will be on display at the Auckland International Boat Show to be held next month, from March 11-14.
More than 20,000 boating enthusiasts will convene at Auckland’s Viaduct Harbour, home to the 2000 and 2003 America’s Cup, where they will see first-hand what Riviera has to offer the discerning buyer.
Examples from each of Riviera’s model series will be on display, some for the first time at the Auckland Boat Show, including the largest flybridge and sport yacht in the fleet.
In the flybridge range Riviera’s exciting new flagship model, the 70, is the largest, most luxurious and technically advanced Riviera ever built featuring 3000 horsepower, world-class technology, a fully enclosed flybridge with internal staircase and an alfresco under cover mezzanine dinning area in the cockpit.
The luxury four cabin/four bathroom accommodation with sleeping capacity for up to 14 people includes three cabins forward and the full beam master stateroom aft. The master stateroom is unashamedly indulgent complete with king-size walk-around bed, his and hers walk-in wardrobes with cedar linings, automatic lighting, a two-seater couch, and 32” LCD TV.
The saloon has the ambience and space of a luxury apartment; with a leather U-shaped lounge comfortably seating eight, a stainless steel and teak staircase leading up to the enclosed flybridge, the dining area and galley are two steps up from the lounge area and feature an expansive utility room for appliances.
The sensational new Riviera 70 Enclosed Flybridge is the culmination of 30 years of dedication to the goal of building the best luxury boats in the world and has been designed in consultation with internationally renowned naval architect Frank Mulder.
Also on display from the flybridge range will be the 51 now available with an IPS propulsion option, and 47 Enclosed Flybridges, and 45 Open Flybridge will be on display.
In the Sport Yacht range, the exciting new 5800 with Volvo Penta IPS propulsion offering up to 30 per cent better fuel consumption and joystick control for easy docking as well as all the luxuries and craftsmanship expected from a Riviera.
The main saloon features a large U-shape galley aft and a large dinette forward. The forward section of the galley doubles as a breakfast servery with two optional stools.
The 5800 Sport Yacht offers a three or four cabin option including full beam master stateroom with midships king size double bed, the option of a galley in the saloon on a lower level, an expansive cockpit with large dining table and a garage that can accommodate a 3.2-metre tender.
