Riviera has this month exported its first 45 Open Flybridge to Phuket in Thailand.

Riviera Australia’s Asia and Pacific dealer relationship manager Peter Welch said the owner of this new vessel previously owned a 43 Offshore Express.

“The owner enjoys fishing, cruising and cooking, so we have fitted this new 45 with the latest fishing equipment, rod holders and electronics, as well as a convection oven and coffee machine,” Mr Welch said.

“Over recent months we have noticed an increase in interest for vessels under 50 foot, which is encouraging for Riviera’s design team who have just launched details of the new 50 Enclosed Flybridge, which will make her world release next year.

“The feedback we are receiving from customers is that they are looking for a vessel that is easy to handle and will easily fit into a marina berth without compromising on luxury or performance, so given this feedback, we believe the 45 Open Flybridge will become increasingly popular.”

Riviera’s exclusive Thailand dealer since 1998, Lee Marine, is proud to have sold the first luxury 45 Open Flybridge to Phuket.

Lee Marine general manager Martin Holmes said the 45 Open Flybridge was the perfect vessel for cruising in and around the 39 islands surrounding Phuket.

“The 45 Open Flybridge was built for blue water cruising and will easily navigate Thailand’s Andaman Sea,” Mr Holmes said.

“Phuket is a boater’s paradise with some of the most spectacular, white sandy beaches and tropical islands.  The 45 is a mid-sized luxury flybridge that offers everything the astute boat owner could ever wish for, including, three cabins, two bathrooms, moulded exterior staircase from the cockpit to the flybridge, generous cockpit size, spacious interior, and propeller tunnels in the hull that provide greater forward thrust for exceptional performance.

“We look forward to seeing this new Riviera 45 Open Flybridge grace Thailand’s magnificent waterways, and we are eagerly awaiting the 2013 launch of the new 50 Enclosed Flybridge.”
