Riviera Syndication’s John and Sharon Russell extend an invitation to all Riviera owners to join them on the grid for a once in a lifetime experience cruising into Monaco harbour on board a luxury yacht for the Monaco Grand Prix held next May.

Sharon Russell said this truly was a five star trip and guests had the option to customise their itinerary with a choice of two seven night cruises or putting them together for a 14 night cruise.

“The first option is on board the refurbished ‘Star Pride’, which has an open bridge policy, allowing guests to ride on the bridge with the Captain in these exciting ports.

“The second cruise is on the brand new five star French ship, ‘Le Soleal’ which was launched in July of this year.  This cruise will sail in and out of Venice and cruise the beautiful Croatian coast.

“Both ships are more like private yachts weighing just over 10,000 tons, and accommodating just over 200 guests at full capacity. They boast many luxury features and being small can explore many hidden coves that larger ships can’t reach. We have included everything Riviera owners could want including great food, a full drinks package and all laundry on board Star Pride so you can relax on deck with your fellow owners and watch the world go by.”

The Syndication team will arrive in Rome on May 18 and spend two nights in Rome’s historic city centre overlooking the Pantheon before joining their cruise of choice departing Rome on May 21 on the Windstar ‘Star Pride’ and or the seven night Venice/Croatia cruise departing Venice on May 29 onboard Compagnie du Ponant “Le Soleal”, including one night in a five star hotel in Venice.

“We arrive in Cannes, France on May 23 where we can spend the day exploring the French Riviera and its luxurious boutiques and elegant sidewalk cafes before leaving for Monte Carlo, Monaco for the Grand Prix.  On May 24 we can enjoy breakfast on deck before being escorted to the track to watch the time trials for pole position.  After the time trials we will return to the ship to freshen up before our Grand Prix cocktail party and dinner at the Hotel de Paris.

“On May 25 we head back to downtown Monte Carlo for the excitement of the Monaco Grand Prix.  After the race we will head back to the ship for relaxing sunset drinks on deck as we say goodbye to Monaco bound for Portofino, Porto Ferraio, Elba Island, Porto Venere from La Cinque Terre in Italy.”

Not only are John and Sharon excited about the upcoming cruise, but so too are many Riviera owners, including Scott and Julia Moses who jumped at the opportunity to join them on their third adventure.

“When John and Sharon told us they were planning another adventure for the Riviera owners group in 2014 we immediately said "count us in". On reflection perhaps we should have asked where we were going and who would be coming with us but these were mere details. Rome, Monte Carlo, the Grand Prix, cruising down the Croatian coast, wow, we just can't wait.  What makes it really special though is the personalised service we get from John and Sharon and the chance to catch up with old friends we have made on the previous expeditions we have been on. This will be the trip of a lifetime, until the next one,” said Scott and Julia Moses.

Simon Farr said he has enjoyed many trips with Syndication.

“When I stepped aboard a beautiful Riviera at the Gold Coast International Marine Expo and bought a share in the 5800 Sport Yacht Bellini, we were thrilled to discover it included a total lifestyle package.  My wife and I are joining John and Sharon on a fully guided expedition from Monaco to Croatia with a group of like-minded owners next year. Our only regret is that it is occurring next year and not this year as we are eagerly looking forward to it,” said Simon.

Alan Lock said his family have always enjoyed Riviera Syndication’s owners’ trips.

“We are always made to feel like part of the family and Sharon is an excellent guide who manages to get special treatment for the group.  Whether it be securing an invitation to an exclusive Captain's cocktail party or we have forgotten our sunscreen, Sharon is there to sort it out. We are really looking forward to our third Syndication trip to Monaco next year,” said Alan.
