Western Australia’s sick and disadvantaged children will benefit from R Marine Perth’s inaugural 2010 Variety Splash.
R Marine Perth recently teamed up with Variety WA to host the fundraising cruise, which will be held from March 11-16.
The fundraising adventure will take participants on a voyage to Geographe Bay where they will be entertained, enjoy fine food and wines and have the option to take part in daily activities.
R Marine Perth dealer principal Brendon Grieve said the Variety Splash was a fantastic opportunity to explore some of Western Australia’s pristine waters while raising funds for a worthwhile charity.
“I must admit, reading through the pages of Variety WA’s 2007/2008 Financial Report I developed a lump in my throat,” said Mr Grieve.
“As a father of two gorgeous boys it had a profound effect on me, even now I am overwhelmed by the number of children whose lives have been improved by Variety WA and those who support this charity.
“I am encouraging all Riviera owners to get on board and support this worthwhile cause.”
R Marine Perth will officially launch the Variety Splash on November 18 with a cocktail themed soiree at the new Eat Greek restaurant at Aquarama Marina from 6pm-8pm for a cocktail themed.
“We will have a suitably themed Riviera 38 on display to give people a taste of what is to come in March,” said Mr Grieve.
An entry fee of $300 per person is required for all event participants, children under 16 are free and each boat is asked to raise a tax deductible, minimum donation of $2000 per boat.
