Riviera welcomes R Marine Riley to Sydneys Pittwater

Australia's favourite and most awarded luxury boat builder is proud to open its newest Riviera and Belize dealership today on Sydney's Pittwater.

Long-serving Riviera dealer principal, Lee Dillon of R Marine LDM based at The Quays at Church Point, has handed over the helm to internationally experienced senior executive, Mark Riley, who has earned a solid reputation in the large luxury powerboat industry and among boat owners in Sydney for his service and commitment to total customer care.

Mark brings with him a wealth of international knowledge and experience working with luxury brands such as Levi Strauss, Sheridan and other high-end global products across Asia, America, Europe and Australia.

He has spent a lifetime around boats. His passion for boating began as a young boy growing up in Taree on the north coast of NSW and as he matured he gravitated towards larger motor yachts, and has established a strong and respected network within the marine industry.

Marks marine knowledge and experience extends to his community commitments, which include surf patrol and rescue boat captain, member of the Sydney Amateur Sailing Club, and sailing coach and instructor. His other interests include triathlons, sailing, surfing and international travel.

Mark said opening R Marine Riley at Pittwater today was a dream come true.

"Riviera has sold more than 5100 boats in its 33 year history and it is the company's reputation, integrity, heritage and experience that attracted me to the Riviera brand," he said.

"Having recently returned from the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, I could see how Riviera proudly sits alongside the best boating marques in the world. The Australian iconic marine brand more than held its own on the world stage this year and the latest new Riviera and Belize models were a real standout at Lauderdale. I am honoured to be a part of Riviera's premiere R Marine network, the largest luxury cruiser network in Australia.

Mark said one of his key aims was to encourage Riviera and Belize owners to enjoy the ultimate boating experience.

"Family participation in boating is a real passion of mine and I aim to help Riviera and Belize owners use their boats more by providing opportunities for them to get out on their boats," he said.

"As a father of three young children, I understand and appreciate how important it is to spend quality time with your family. People often say that the family who boats together, stays together, and I truly believe that boating brings people together from all walks of life and it is a unique experience enjoyed by all ages.

Riviera CEO Wes Moxey thanked Lee Dillon on his dedication and support of the Riviera and Belize brands over the past 30 years and welcomed Mark Riley to the Riviera Australia team.
