RIVIERA DISPLAYS IT’S MOST POPULAR MODELS AT THE
SANCTUARY COVE INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW

Riviera, Australia’s largest and most awarded luxury boat builder will showcase its most popular models at the 24th annual Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, which will be held from May 24-27.

Included in the Riviera line up at this year’s show will be the stunning 5800 Sport Yacht which has sold 23 boats to date, the 5000 Sport Yacht which has sold 46 boats and the 43 Open Flybridge which has sold 35 boats since its world release at the 2010 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.

As one of the shows founding exhibitors, Riviera enjoys a 24 year history at Sanctuary Cove and will be in their familiar location at the beginning of F Marina.

Riviera’s director of brand and sales Stephen Milne said the multi-award winning company was anticipating another successful boat show following the encouraging results in Miami, USA.

“Riviera has made a strong start to the 2012 boat show season with six new boat sales totalling US$10.4 million at the recent Miami Yacht and Brokerage Show, and we are pleased to have recorded a six month sales record for the month of February with the retail sale of 12 new boats,” Mr Milne said.

“Riviera continues to defy industry sales trends and this year we have seen the inherent strength of the Riviera brand internationally coupled with the turnaround in the US boating market and Riviera coming out of Receivership and returning back to private ownership, which is producing positive results for Riviera and we are looking forward to further success at Sanctuary Cove in May.

“Riviera will showcase three of its top selling models at this year’s show, which will most certainly impress the discerning boat owner.”

The Riviera display will also feature some of the latest marine navigation and desalination equipment from R Electronics.

Managing director Errol Cain has supervised the installation of marine electronic systems into thousands of luxury cruisers in his 24 years experience and looks forward to the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.

“R Electronics will have a full array of integrated electronics and systems on display and on board the three boats at the Riviera display,” Mr Cain said.

“People can come on board the Riviera boats and view our inverters, underwater lights, thermal imaging cameras, satellite TV and communications, and watermakers,” Mr Cain said.

“R Electronics recently launched the new HRO Seafari Mini 550 and 750 watermakers, which will be on display and are one of the smallest watermakers available.  They take up less room on board but make a large capacity of water for its size, making 1,900 to 2,850 litres of fresh water per day.”

R Electronics will have an experienced technician at the display to assist with all electronics and systems enquiries.

The Riviera Syndication team will be on board their Riviera 5800 Sport Yacht which has limited shares remaining in boats located in Sydney, Sanctuary Cove and Hamilton Island.

Riviera Syndication managing director John Russell said the 5800 Sport Yacht had been their most successful model in the past two years.

“Riviera Syndication has customised three of these impressive boats with shares available in three of Australia’s most popular boating playgrounds,” Mr Russell said.

“The Sanctuary Cove 5800 ‘Bellini’ has an exciting program for her owners where she is based at Sanctuary Cove but is relocated to Hamilton Island in the winter and to Sydney/Pittwater for the Christmas and New Year period.  Equity shares have been reduced to $219,000 plus an annual fee.

“Hamilton Island is the home port of another of these fully optioned luxury Riviera 5800s ‘Marbella’ and final shares remain for those who have a passion for boating in the spectacular Whitsunday Islands.  You step off the plane and your fully prepared Riviera is ready to go.  Equity shares cost $200,000 plus an annual fee.

“Sydneysiders are well catered for with a Riviera 5800 Sport Yacht ‘Bellagio’ which is based at Rushcutters Bay for eight months of the year before she escapes to the tropics of the Whitsundays for winter.  ‘Bellagio’ is preparing her second adventure to the Whitsundays in July this year and has a resale share available.

“We also have a new IPS powered 4400 Sport Yacht Series II available.  This luxurious vessel will be based at Sanctuary Cove Marina giving you the ultimate in relaxing lifestyle and all for an investment of only $119,000 per equity share plus an annual fee.”

Riviera offers 20 different models from 36 to 85 feet across four model series Flybridge, Sport Yacht, Offshore Express and Motor Yachts.
