The first of the Robalo fishing and crossover boat range to hit Australia will debut at the upcoming Sanctuary Cove Boat show.
Robalo boats have been a premium brand in the states since 1968 and currently hold the number #1 position in U.S with a 25% share of the fishing boat market from 18-30 feet. Robalo are imported by Chaparral Australia and will be largely sold through the existing Australia wide network.
Scott O’Hare from Chaparral Australia said “The boats themselves are renowned for their quality finish and tough construction, but the Hydro Lift hull design is what really sets them apart. The unique hull offers an incredibly soft ride; the expected jarring coming off big waves & swells is non-existent with the added bonus of super efficient fuel consumption; you really have to see and ride in these boats to believe them” he says. “We reckon we will offer the best value for money fishing or crossover outboard boats on the market and can’t wait to show people what we are talking about.”
The Robalo designers have also realised that today’s boating families often want more than just a fishing boat; they seek to enjoy their investment more often with the flexibility to ski and cruise as well. The new crossover range offers flexible cockpit layout’s, built in toilets and single or twin outboard transoms whilst retaining all of the performance characteristics and serious fishability that Robalo’s are famous for.
“The packages we are offering at Sanctuary Cove are designed to help us kick start the brand in Australia and will include red hot deals on pricing and extras. The R180 and R247 will be our feature boats for the show with more models rolling in over the next few months”.
Sirocco Marine North is handling the Robalo range for Queensland and will display at stand MH6 on Masthead Way in the Sanctuary Cove village. For more information on Robalo go to www.robalo.com or contact Chaparral Australia on (03)9397-6977
