Australian company, U.S. Yachts, will debut the new Hunter e36 at the 2011 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.
The Hunter e36 boasts the new sleek design found on the Hunter 39 and Hunter 50, with a hull design that is even further advanced. This change is part of Hunter’s evolution of hull design that couples stern reflex with a bow hollow creating an effect that mimics a longer overall hydrodynamic waterline, therefore increasing the hull speed.
The deck features a more modern profile with large side windows ensuring more interior light while the cockpit has been lengthened and bolstered by a fold down swim platform. The e36 still retains its telescopic stainless steel ladder allowing swimmers to reboard easily after some aquatic fun and games.
The longer cockpit allows for a larger and more airy master aft cabin with even more headroom. Overall the interior has been enhanced with a richer look and feel. The hardwood flooring and Corian countertops add elegance, and no matter which of the two salon designs you choose – the traditional U-shape or a more conventional layout which allows up to five guests to face one another – you will be more than comfortable in your home on the sea.
The new e36 is also available in a performance-enhanced version, that will feature a deep draft lead keel, upgraded winches, spinnaker gear including a retractable bow sprit, a larger wheel, folding propeller, fat-top mainsail for increased mainsail power and taking out the swim platform will save on weight and allow for a more open cockpit.
