Hampton Yachts Endurance 650
Exhibitor Australasian Marine Imports (part of the Gold Coast City Marina Group) is launching in Australasia the Endurance 650 from renowned Hampton Yachts.
This classic inspired motor yacht offers a semi-displacement hull that features two distinct and separate chine lines that provide the vessel with an even or horizontal lift as horsepower is applied. The 20m vessel is a high performance yacht where two layers of Kevlar are used to reinforce the hull in high load areas with three layers of Kevlar in the collision zone forward.
In keeping with the traditional feel of a classic megayacht, the entire timber fit out is completed using one tree to ensure all timber veneer and hardwoods match. Hampton even makes its own veneer ‘in house’ that is three times thicker than industry standard. More than 60,000 man hours were used to build the vessel. The accommodations are impressive with three cabins including a full beam master stateroom.
There is a twin room to port and an island queen sized VIP stateroom located forward. The fourth cabin/crew quarters is aft with self contained amenities. There are additional internal elements such as exotic stone features in the floor and a hand painted old world map recessed in the ceiling approaching the master stateroom.
The vessel is propelled with a pair of 873hp Caterpillar C18 diesels. Other technical details include a 6800L fuel capacity, 1500L water (two tanks) and the use of low-horsepower, high displacement 18.1L engines and hull design to produce a fuel efficient combination.
The Endurance 650 exhibited at Sanctuary Cove features dual Onan generators, Wesmar 700 stabilisers, a hydraulic 500kg davit and RIB with 40hp four-stroke engine. The Endurance 650 is valued at $A3.2m all inclusive.
