Ranger Tugs – John Smale

Ranger Tugs is debuting the Ranger Tug R25 in a southern hemisphere release.

The boat is designed to provide maximum comfort and versatility offering a 2.6m (8ft 6in) beam for roomy on deck areas and large interior spaces.

The 7.5m vessel (around 8.2m with a swim platform) offers sleeping accommodation for up to five with an enclosed head with shower, sink and marine toilet, dinette, galley, 240 volt shore power and a helm with SmartCraft instrumentation.

There is an optional navigation package. Large cabin windows and overhead skylight hatches help brighten the interior and offer a panoramic view. The roomy self-bailing cockpit is idea for fishing or outdoor relaxation. A transom door leads to the full swim platform and there’s room atop the deckhouse for stowing.

Standard diesel inboard power delivers exceptional fuel economy. The vessel has a fuel capacity of 284L and a water capacity of 113.5L The R25 has the potential for longer cruising with a range of 2-300 nautical miles powered by the new Cummins 150hp QSD diesel inboard.

This Tug is built to 2009 model specifications with many options including air-conditioning and Mase generator. Exhibitor John Smale of Ranger Tugs Australia and New Zealand said Australian currency fluctuations meant the R25 offers significant value to buyers at the Show as it was sourced at a better rate.

The company is also displaying the popular R21-EC model release at Sanctuary Cove Boat Show in 2009.
