Kingscliff, Australia, May 4th 2008 – The MotoSurf World Championships was held last weekend at Kingscliff Beach in NSW. It was the last opportunity for competitors to showcase their skills being the final round of the Australian National Championships. Anthony Antees rode his Sea-Doo® GTI 4-TEC to victory winning the MotoSurf World Title Pro Runabout Open and securing the Australian National Title.
Anthony has now captured all the Australian National number one rankings & countless other titles including the Kings Cup in December of last year, all with Sea-Doo. Scott Phillips on a Sea-Doo RXP and Rob White on a Sea-Doo GTI 4-TEC placed 2nd and 3rd respectively in the Australian National Titles. This result is the tenth straight victory for Sea-Doo in the premier Pro Runabout category as well as Anthony’s fourth. For the last 10 years Sea-Doo has provided the reliability, power and strength needed to claim ten consecutive AJSBA Australian National Championships! “BRP Australia would like to congratulate Anthony Antees for yet another fantastic performance as he successfully led all three finals from flag to flag.” Gregoire Dupont, BRPA General Manager.
