Seawind Catamarans has unveiled a new $5 million dedicated multihull marina project in Rozelle Bay, Sydney.
Seawind Managing Director Richard Ward said that phase one of the project – the construction of the marina itself – is already under way. Phase two will include the on-shore infrastructure to support the new marina.
“This is an exciting new development for Sydney’s multihull community,” said Mr Ward. “The marina will have berths for 16 multihull yachts. We will also have a specialist slipway with hardstand and workshops.”
The new development is on The Crescent at the western end of Rozelle Bay.
A public slipway at the northern end of the complex will be retained.
When it is complete the complex will house Seawind’s main sales office and will include a café/restaurant capable of hosting functions.
“Sydney has been desperately short of marina berthing for some years and multihull owners have been particularly hard hit,” said Mr Ward. “This new marina goes some way to addressing the problem.
“This will also be a showcase for our range of Seawind and Corsair multihull yachts.”
