Steber Boats to display Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club’s 34ft starting vessel
Internationally acclaimed, Steber Boats will display the Steber 34 foot commercial ‘race staring’ vessel at the Sydney International Boat Show in 2009.
Owned and operated by the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club, “Alfreds II” is powered by twin 240hp Yanmar diesel engines and has a top speed of 25 knots.
The Steber 34 has outstanding handling and cornering abilities and is based on the lines of the NSW Water Police craft.
The modified interior suits the Yacht Club’s “no frills” requirements but the layout and configuration would suit a large range of applications such as offshore fishing, general cruising and overnighting with minor modifications.
Low maintenance, yet comfortable, the Steber 34 includes a toilet/shower room, double decker bunks, plenty of stowage, KAM pneumatic helm seat, dinette and galley.
The spacious cockpit deck has full fibreglass reinforced plastic (FRP) canopy for sun protection, side electric winch for hauling in marker buoys and a tow post for salvage and rescue work.
The boat excels with safety items including additional stainless steel rails and cockpit controls. Large hatches provide easy access to the engines.
You will be welcomed aboard this “Work Horse” by the Steber International team at the 2009 Sydney International Boat Show in Darling Harbour.
