Our South Pacific stand was a huge success, thanks to the direction of David Good and Maddie Spencer, and support from the Queensland and Western Australian governments.”
The launch of Issue 12 of Superyacht Australia Magazine coincided with the show, featuring a highlight on Timor Leste and an exclusive presentation attended by notable figures, including the Timor Leste Ambassador to Monaco. The magazine also showcased premier attractions in the Coral Triangle, including Indonesia’s Raja Ampat.
Key highlights included an exclusive reception hosted by the Western Australian Government onboard the iconic 85m M/Y Bold, a symbol of Australian shipbuilding innovation. The Asia Superyacht Night, organized by the Asia Pacific Superyacht Association, provided a valuable networking opportunity for industry associates from the region.
SYA also celebrated the launch of Volvo Penta’s new IPS Drive at the Monaco Yacht Club and looks forward to continuing its partnership with BOAT International Media, providing members with valuable industry insights.
Additionally, connections were made with international crew recruitment agencies, enhancing opportunities for Australian crew in the global superyacht industry. SYA is committed to raising awareness for yachting in key coastal locations across Australia.
David Good, CEO of SYA, reflected on the show’s success: “Despite initial concerns due to security issues in the Red Sea, this year’s show exceeded expectations. We received numerous inquiries about charter visits and yacht sales into Australia, with promising transactions anticipated this year.”
With a focus on the breathtaking cruising grounds of Australia and the South Pacific, SYA captivated attendees with the promise of exclusive and adventurous journeys in one of the world’s most stunning regions.
