Superyacht Base Australia steps up to the future

Superyacht Base Australia is shifting its image with a re-branding exercise to reflect the sophistication of the Superyacht industry that it represents.

“After 10 years of successfully representing the Superyacht Industry of Australia, we are incorporating a new international flavour to our brand,” said the recently appointed Chairman, David McQueen.

Superyacht Base Australia will now be known as SYBA – Superyacht Australia, with a new logo that represents the magnificent Australian cruising coastline, incorporating a vessel circumnavigating its shores.
The brand’s ‘new build’ logo will be featured on SYBA’s new interactive website, which is planned to be launched in July this year.

David believes that Australia is ‘the new Caribbean’ of the world, and is confident that the upgraded branding will encourage international and regional owners and their crews to cruise to Australian waters.

As a proud foundation partner of The Great Southern Route—the only cruising guide to the southern hemisphere—SYBA will concentrate their efforts on encouraging Superyacht crews to take advantage of the abundant and magnificent cruising regions of Australia.

The next destination for SYBA will be the Monaco and Fort Lauderdale international boat shows, as the representatives of the Australian Superyacht industry.
