Fishing, sailing, water skiing or just cruising around. What’s your passion?

Once again you can share your passion at this year’s Sydney International Boat Show in the form of a photography competition. Now in its third year, a photography competition is being held in conjunction with the show. What started as a ‘once off’ idea has turned into a very popular activity at the show with hundreds of entries.

The competition rules are simple; anyone can enter an image or images following the theme of: “My favourite recreational boating moment or scene”.

Two prizes will be awarded. The first selected by James Ostinga, Editor of Digital Photography and Design and well-known photographer Andrea Francolini. The second will be a ‘people’s choice’ award with visitors to the show having the opportunity to select their favourite image. Each prize winner will win a $500 gift voucher from Digital Camera Warehouse.

The best entries will be on display at the show in Darling Harbour from July 28 to August 1.

This is not about professional photographers; this is about everyone having an opportunity to put their best shot forward. Entry is simple and free. Visit the shows web site, www.sydneyboatshow.com.au for details on how to enter.
