Engine & Efficiency: Powered by a Yanmar 8LV370 diesel engine, the Tasman 80 has an economical cruise speed of 24 knots while consuming just 34 liters of fuel per hour. It showcased exceptional fuel efficiency during a three-day marlin fishing trip, using only 176 liters over 30 hours of operation.

Design & Stability: With a generous internal freeboard, significant bow flare, broad chines, and a 21-degree deadrise at the transom, the boat is purpose-built for rough conditions, such as those often encountered in Bass Strait. Sea trials revealed its excellent stability and comfort even in 20-25 knot winds.

Range: It boasts a remarkable 400 nautical mile range with a 600-liter fuel tank.

Maintenance: The Tasman 80 requires servicing only every 250 hours, and owners can perform their own maintenance using genuine parts while retaining the warranty.
