The Maestro Line – Apreamare Maestro 65 & 51
From the historical, Sorrento-based boat yard founded in 1849, Apreamare announces a new range of vessels to compliment their prestigious handcrafted gozzo boats.
This new line of boats derives from the will of creating a product that continues to reflect the “classicism” of Apreamare brand, strongly linked to the maritime tradition.
The name “Maestro” sums up the ambitious will to look at the future without leaving the past; it wants to represent the synthesis between the “carpenter’s” culture (which forged the history of the boat in the times) and the “teaching shipwright’s” culture (which is mainly considered as a reference point). The distinguishing features of the hull and of the superstructure propose, in a modern version, themes and shapes belonging to the best marine tradition, using innovative materials, technologies and criteria.
So, at the basis of Maestro project, there is a major challenge: to create a line of boats that were not yet present on the nautical market, representing a unique and balanced synthesis of the most important and well-established typologies particularly appreciated by pleasure boaters. The line will be completed, in the next few years, with a range of boats going from 43 to 85 feet.
Currently available is the Maestro 65 and Maestro 51.
Bright, open spaces, harmonious lines, hi-tech equipment and innovative design are words that describe this craft.
The accommodation on the Maestro 65’s lower deck includes a crew cabin aft, full-width owner’s cabin amidships, VIP cabin in the bow and a two berth cabin between them. All three cabins have en-suite bathrooms. The galley is also on the lower deck.
The helm station is situated on the main deck along with the dining area and a huge lounge/entertainment area. The top level includes a very comfortable lounge and a spacious sun lounge.
Thanks to the standard hull shape for this type of high performance boat, the Maestro can reach high speeds, while still enjoying the benefits of a fresh design and well organised spaces. The use of large sliding windows in the living area keeps you in direct contact with the water even while you are inside, and the hatch at the stern creates the famous “terrace on the water”
The Maestro 65 (20.16m) comes standard with twin 1360hp MAN V12s, generating a top speed of 33 knots and a cruising speed of 30 knots. Two other engine options are available; twin 1100hp M.A.Ns or twin 1550hp M.T.Us: the latter powering the Maestro 65 to 35 knots.
The 51 interior quarters have been furnished with care to optimise space to its maximum. In this way three comfortable cabins and two bathrooms are offered with separate shower rooms – the owner’s cabin in the bow and two single berth cabins aft. The owner’s and the VIP cabin have en-suite bathrooms. There is a single berth crew cabin aft.
This craft boasts an unusual brightness. This has been achieved as a result of the large, vertically sliding windows that have been included. These windows actually transform the dinette into a terrace on the water. The daytime quarters are, therefore, very open and provide a 360 degree view that makes the Maestro an even more enjoyable experience.
The galley, located below deck, is spacious and has a large area above it that is almost an extension of the daytime quarters at the bow.
It is in the helm station that the Maestro line really shows its distinct characteristics that give it its name: the steering position is encircled by large, curved, vertical windows and an area that is significantly more spacious than that of other similarly sized boats.
The Maestro 51 offers either twin 730hp M.A.Ns or 575hp Volvo D9s. The M.A.N diesels represent a maximum speed of 32 knots, with the Volvo D9’s performing up to 27knots.
